Dr. Ashvini Kumar
Dr. Ashvini Kumar is currently MD at SECI and spearheading the ambitious target of expanding solar energy through various technologies in the country. Before joining SECI, he was associated with the MNRE since 1986 in different capacities. As a Director in the MNRE, he was working on various activities including solar grid power and R&D coordination. He has obtained his PhD. in Solar Energy from Centre for Energy Studies, IIT Delhi and has been a major contributor to the promotion and development of Solar Thermal technology in the country. His contribution was also instrumental at Solar Energy Centre in establishing the Solar Thermal Testing facilities.

Dr. R.K. Malhotra
Dr. R. K. Malhotra is Director General with Petroleum Federation of.Dr. Malhotra was earlier Director (Research & Development) in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) for 4 years as Board Member. Dr. Malhotra, a Mechanical Engineer from IIT BHU and Ph.D. (Energy Studies) from IIT Delhi, has published/presented 190 research papers and holds 53. Under his leadership, IndianOil-R&D received several National/International recognitions which included HART Energy Global Award, World Petroleum Congress (WPC) Award, PETROFED Innovator of the Year Award & CSIR Science & Technology Award (from Prime Minister) and more.He was bestowed with Rudolf A. Erren Award by the International Association of Hydrogen Energy (IAHE) for his contribution to Hydrogen research. He also received "Global Excellence Award" for demonstrating excellence in Renewable energy sector and IIT-BHU Alumni Award for Excellence in the fieldof R&D and life time achievement award form NLGI for contribution to Lubricants & Grease Industry.

Dr Suprotim Ganguly
Dr. Ganguly is current CEO of GITA, a JV of DST and CII, where they stimulate private sector investments in R&D from India and abroad. He has more than 15 years of rich experience in leading scientific & techno-strategic research in Clean Energy & Climate Change Technology and Financing. As Director Energy (Technology) and as Head Energy (Technology) in CII, New Delhi he had initiated and led the entire space of techno-strategic research Clean Energy/ Energy Efficiency/ Climate Change related projects in CII closely with various Ministries He has a Doctoral in Energy Engineering IIT Delhi. He is also a certified Energy Auditor and Six-Sigma Black Belt in Process Optimization.

Mili Majumdar
She is Senior VP at USGBC and have vast experience of two decades in the field of energy and environment with core expertise in sustainable development of habitat and buildings. She was with TERI as Director, Sustainable Habitat Division and has been involved in several policy initiatives to mainstream sustainable buildings in India. Her contribution in development of relevant codes and standards like Energy Conservation Building Code and National Building Code 2005, etc., has enabled many project in this area in the country. She has led the initiative on development of GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) that has now been adopted as a National Green Building Rating System. She has also authored several books on the subject and has contributed to publications and journals.

Sujit Kumar Nag
Graduated in Electrical Engineering in the year 1976, started his career in electrical system maintenance of PF coal fired Power Plant, thereafter he moved to Power Plant electrical system design. After working in core design for more than 12 years, Sujit decided to move to Project Management of Large Power and infrastructure projects. As a project manager, he worked in various parts of world. He took leadership role in establishing large power, P&C, infrastructure projects with renowned organization like Bechtel International, ABB, Alstom etc. Sujit has been associated with modernization of IGI airport since 2006 has been instrumental in completion of this mega infrastructure project within a record time of 36 months. He is now Executive Vice President and Chief Projects & Engineering Officer at Delhi International Airport.

Gireesh Shrimali
Gireesh Shrimali is the Director of CPI’s India program, and a Fellow at the Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance at Stanford University. Previously, he helped found the CPI-ISB Energy and Environment Program in collaboration with CPI. His current research focus is on renewable energy policy and finance in developing countries – in particular, on analytical frameworks for the identification of effective policies as well as on instruments for the provision of low-cost, long-term capital. His previous work includes topics such as analysis of India’s solar policies, the impact of federal and state policies on the development and deployment of renewable energy in the U.S., and business models for off-grid energy in developing countries. He holds a PhD from Stanford University, an MS from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
